About

Always growing older - never growing up.

Eclectic random geekery: Star Wars, Doctor Who, Sci-Fi, science, photography, LEGO, and stupid, stupid things.

This is my personal opinion / reblogging blog. If you're after my personal photos or awful photoshop creations, the links are below.

LIKE YOU CARE...

As they say in the classics "I'm too old for this shit".

That said, I live in sunny Brisbane (Australia), forging a career in advertising / marketing whilst enjoying life as it comes.

I take photos on my iPhone, listen to (a lot of) music on my iPhone, and like Star Wars. So yes, I'm a geek.

That's about it.

Party on!

The Most Effective Protest Sign Ever
A chart! A government-cited, statistic-based chart.

Worse than sickening. This is terrifying. But the truth usually is.

Ten Years Later by Tony Piro (Calamities of Nature)
Enough is enough. No matter your nationality, religion or beliefs; please contact your local politicians and urge them to remove their troops from this pointless war.
Life is too precious to fight over oil, or to argue over who has the best god.
Let’s focus on what’s important for once.

The Power of Glee
Obviously Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours is a brilliant album. But it’s 34 years old. That’s double the age of the average kid who watches Glee.
But this week’s Rumours episode shows that this cute little show has an incredible ability to do good things - #2 on the Australian album chart!
Congratulations to the producers of Glee. I look forward to the next great classic you inspire the youth of today to discover.  Can I suggest anything by Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Prince, INXS, Midnight Oil or the Eurythmics?
