Can Star Wars films predict World Leaders?

I dunno. You be the judge …

American & British politics have seen 50/50 between Democrats & Republicans / Liberal & Conservative, while Australia has been predominantly Liberal. The Catholic Church has seen three popes; and three leaders have also graced the stage of Iraq & North Korea.

The only figureheads to have been in power for all 6 of the original Star Wars films are Gadafi, Castro, Bolkiah & Elizabeth II.

Just sayin’.

Ginger Bill Comprehensively Defeated

The House of Representatives today rejected the Private Member bill to allow redheads to marry each other, despite the majority of Australians supporting the concept.

“People are people” said Raymond Fullcroft, “it saddens me that we’re still discriminating against people because of their genes.”

“I truly believed the extremists in the conservative party would support this bill after they finally recognised blue-eyed people’s rights last year. I suppose we can take a positive from the Labor Party allowing a conscience vote on this issue.”

Prime Minister Gillard was visibly upset by the vote, lambasting naysayers for denying her the equal rights that all Australians cherish.

The Parliament then closed for a recess to participate in a stoning of a raped woman and a couple of pooftas.

Star Wars Episode 7: The Ranga Drives A Stake Through KVN-O7’s Heart

Scene One: It is early Winter 2010 on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin. A charred former leader, sans limbs, weeps uncontrollably as his former Padawan leers at his broken frame.
Julia: “You were the chosen one! You were meant to destroy the sith, not join them! You were supposed to bring balance to the force, not to leave it in darkness!”

Nice political statement made by Death Star PR today in an open letter to the USA’s Pentagon:
